The Polish National Commission for UNESCO – Honorary Patron of the 4th International Biennial “Remember the Gardens. After all, that’s where you came from…”

The Secretary-General of the Polish National Commission for UNESCO, Dr. Alicja Jagielska-Burduk, submitted a letter regarding this matter to Małgorzata Mroczkowska, Director of the Władysław Drapiewski Private Secondary School of Fine Arts in Płock.

In the letter, the Secretary-General of the Polish National Commission for UNESCO, dr hab. Alicja Jagielska-Burduk, wrote, among other things: “This event uniquely and creatively aligns with UNESCO’s guidelines for artistic education, as an essential element of a comprehensive and quality education for young people. […] We hope that this year’s edition will bring many benefits and creative experiences to all participants.”

The Polish National Commission for UNESCO is an advisory and consultative body to the Council of Ministers. Its Secretary-General is a professor at the Institute of Legal Sciences at the University of Opole. In March of this year, she was appointed to the position of Professor of the Institute of Legal Sciences at the University of Opole. She was appointed to the Team for Poland’s Membership in the International Committee for the Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage, tasked with providing substantive support to the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. This was in conjunction with Poland’s appointment as a member of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee. The team consisted of twelve members, including representatives of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the National Heritage Institute, and the International Cultural Centre.
